Draftbit was founded in 2018 by Brian Luerssen, Peter Piekarczyk, and Donald Hruska. The idea was born out of their own experience rapidly building a mobile app called "Orchard"—others asked how they did it so quickly and requested a tool to help them. Part of the prestigious Y Combinator Winter 2018 batch, Draftbit quickly became a leading platform with a mission to democratize software development for everyone.
